Windsor Plumbing, Done Like a Neighbor Would

Windsor grew fast after it incorporated in 1992, so a lot of the town is built from the same few decades of homes — and they tend to need the same things at the same time: water heaters reaching the end of their life, supply lines and shutoff valves that have gone brittle, and slow drains in kitchens and bathrooms that have seen 30-plus years of use. We drive up from our shop in Cotati, show up when we say, explain the problem in plain English, give you the price before work starts and clean up before we leave.

North of Santa Rosa, between Larkfield-Wikiup and Windsor, there's also a band of older ranch homes and rural lots where the plumbing has been patched by several owners over the years. If you're not sure what you've got under the house, we'll look, show you photos, and let you choose between a repair now and a longer-term fix. Text us a photo of the problem, book online, or ask about financing for larger jobs.

What We See in Windsor Homes

Homes from the 1980s and '90s

Many Windsor subdivisions were built in the 1980s and 1990s. At this age we often see original tank water heaters that are rusting at the base, worn angle stops and braided supply lines under sinks and toilets, and water pressure that's crept too high. Some homes from that era were plumbed with gray plastic supply pipe that's known to fail at the fittings — if you see it in your garage or crawl space, have it checked.

Older homes north of Santa Rosa

Closer to Old Redwood Highway and toward Larkfield-Wikiup you'll find older ranch houses on bigger lots, some with long water service lines from the street or meter. Leaks in a long buried line can be hard to spot until the bill jumps. We locate the problem and repair the section or replace the line.

Newer builds and rebuilt homes

Newer homes around Windsor are more likely to need tankless service and descaling, fixture upgrades and the occasional leak at a fitting than pipe replacement. We handle those quickly.
